VERIZON, SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

January 2017 - January 2018

Owned Content Management System (CMS) strategy and UX requirements for next-gen IPTV video platform. Defined business and product requirements, feature requests, use-cases, acceptance criteria, product priorities and roadmap for home-grown CMS system, OnIT.  Specific focus was on the merchandising & publishing aspects of the tooling, including: metadata management, collection curation, subscription management, account administration, and SSO integration. CMS system used by 700+ enterprise users.

My role was impacted by a company-wide layoff.

OATH, Senior Program Manager

January 2014 - December 2016

Launched go90, Verizon’s streaming video service. Managed a team responsible for programming features & 24/7 app monitoring. Operational and product lead responsible for designing, implementing, and managing publishing operations, merchandising strategy and new product features.  Developed self-service merchandising tooling to be used by external partners including product requirements, level of support & escalation procedures, and how-to documentation. Invented processes for day-to-day operations related to merchandising and onboarding of over 30 live-streaming partners, metadata delivery for 10,000+ assets, and programming 450+ live events. Created the Merchandising Operations Run Book, a manual defining all processes, workflows and documentation related to programming the app. Drafted 200+ pages of technical documentation related to merchandising CMS tools, escalation procedures, and training documentation.

INTEL, SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

June 2013 - January 2014

Built the programming workflows from the ground up to launch OnCue, an OTT service. Defined feature-publishing workflows to affect live programming updates in under 5 minutes with built-in flexibility to accommodate both planned and unplanned changes. Implemented daily programming feature updates to the curated, a la carte programming menu; 40% of all viewership solely used this feature to locate viewable content. Created and managed merchandising feature calendar: planning daily and seasonal campaigns.

Division was acquired by Verizon in 2014.

WALT DISNEY COMPANY, SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER, MERCHANDISING

WALT DISNEY COMPANY, ASSISTANT SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER, MERCHANDISING

December 2006 - May 2013

Promoted to supervise the Site Merchandising team after overhauling the site taxonomy and metadata structure, resulting in greater algorithmic curation and improved efficiency in operational procedures. Defined and designed the mobile web and app experience, managing budget, writing requirements, UX design and scope. PMed two site re-designs; liaising with cross-functional and third-party partners on the capturing of business requirements, management of bugs and enhancement requests, and project delivery from inception through completion and go-live. Managed the implementation of online merchandise strategies and ensured the annual launch of 3000+ products online. Fine-tuned internal search, improving site navigation and search conversion by 25%

Facilitated all marketing needs for our cable and satellite partners, including but not limited to providing brand guidelines, approving marketing materials, sourcing premiums and developing sweepstakes offers and prizing.

Promoted as a result of my exceptional partner management skills and interactions with master licensees, film producers, publicists, actors and agents. Managed the product development and brand assurance process worldwide for the Harry Potter and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film franchises, including defining the process to transfer over 50,000 assets from the film productions to the studio.
